Sailing on Lough Derg

The Shannon Sailing School is just 10 minutes drive from the Puckane Holiday Cottages in Dromineer on the shore of Lough Derg, Ireland’s foremost freshwater inland boating and sailing lake. The school hires day-sailing boats and lake fishing boats at very competitive rates. You can also enjoy "Sailing Fun" in groups while learning and improving sailing skills and safety on the water. The school uses dinghies and small/medium sized Yachts or Sailboats with qualified instructors in the Approved Sailing School.

Sailing tuition is available for Juniors and adults. The Shannon Sailing School provides evening, weekend and week long courses, short Keelboat Cruises or private tuition in your own boat.
